First we’ll start off with an article regarding foods that reduce the risk of cancer. The article is based on a new report from several well known Cancer research organizations and is supposed to be less influenced by politics than other reports (like the food pyramid).
Take a look at the article on the Veggie Revolution Blog:

Next, there’s a new article on the Animal Writings blog called “To Meat-Eaters: Easy Ways to Reduce Meat Consumption While Retaining Your Comfort Foods, Part 7.” This is part of a series, not yet concluded, to help the omnivore casually transition to a more vegetarian diet. Here are the links to the various sections:

Lastly, Fat-free Vegan Oatmeal-Maple Cookies!
A new recipe has been posted on SoulVeggie that is absolutely delicious. I’d just post it here, but I don’t want to ruffle any feathers…so go check it out at SoulVeggie!
I guess that’s all the link sharing I have in me for now. So here’s a toast to 2008; may it be filled with visitors to the website, vegetarian reviews abound, and as many veggie treats as we can stomach!
